Whitley Central students place fourth in national Stock Market Challenge

Whitley Central Intermediate students Lillie Brock, Brenna Hicks and Isabelle McGinley recently placed fourth out of 1,500 students nationwide in the Capital Hill Stock Market Challenge.

Over the course of four months, the students managed a hypothetical $100,000 by making strategic investments and diversifying their portfolio.

Their impressive performance earned them a trip to Washington D.C. where they met with lawmakers and leaders in the financial industry.
