Whitley Co. plays host to KY County Judge-Execs Association members

Date:

Whitley Co. Judge-Executive Pat White Jr. played host for the Kentucky County Judge-Executives’ Association retreat last week, which was held in Whitley County. White is currently serving as president.

About 60 judge-executives attended the retreat. The group had various outings, including a visit to the Univ. of the Cumberlands and a tour of the Firestone Industrial Products plant in Williamsburg.

The plant opened in 1989 and expanded in 1997, 1999 and 2022. It employees about 500 workers.

Knox County Judge-Executive Mike Mitchell listened to a presentation during the Firestone visit before the group was split into smaller groups for tours of the facility. White’s group stopped to pose for a group picture outside.
