Whitley County Schools will be closed Thursday and Friday due to illness.

School officials announced the decision Wednesday afternoon, noting all of the schools and buses would be disinfected during that time.

“We ask that you help us by disinfecting your child’s book bag and coat(s) to prevent further spread of illness,” officials stated on Facebook.
