Whitley County Sheriff reports July activity

The Whitley County Sheriff’s Department has reported its activity for the month of July.

During July, deputies answered 1,398 complaints and investigated 41 vehicle collisions.

In addition, deputies investigated 52 new criminal cases and made 156 criminal arrests.

For the first seven months of 2019, the sheriff’s department has answered a total of 9,863 complaints, investigated 239 wrecks, and made 801 arrests.
