Williamsburg Kiwanis Club presents scholarship checks

The Williamsburg Kiwanis Club is helping local youngsters pursue their higher education dreams via a $500 scholarship each for three recent graduates.

Whitley County High School graduate Blake York received the Williamsburg Kiwanis Club Achievement Award, and will attend the University of Kentucky.

Williamsburg High School graduate Nathan Campbell received the Henry Babe Barton Award. He will also be attending the University of Kentucky.

Williamsburg High School graduate Jackson Osborne received the Dr. Harold Wortman Award and will be attend the University of the Cumberlands.

The trio received their checks during a recent Williamsburg Kiwanis Club meeting, which was held at the Williamsburg Tourism and Convention Center.
