Williamsburg tax rates officially set for 2022

The Williamsburg City Council has finalized tax rates for 2022, and city residents can expect to see a slight drop in their property taxes.

Council members met for a special-called meeting on Sept. 14 for a second reading and vote of an ordinance setting the city’s real and personal property tax rates for the year. A first reading was held last Monday, though no vote is required for first readings.
