Williamsburg dropped its final regular-season game to Knox Central 49-22 on Friday, but the team is already looking ahead to the postseason.
The Jackets will take on the Hazard Bulldogs at home on Nov. 6.
“They are a team that has played one of the toughest schedules in the state,” said Williamsburg Head Coach Jerry Herron. “It will be a physical game as always with Hazard.”
Herron says to be successful on Friday, “Offense has to take what the defense gives us. Defense has to attack the football and be physical.”
For now, he said his team is focusing on practicing hard and getting healthy.
“[We are] excited to have a home playoff game,” said Herron.
Williamsburg and Hazard last met in 2024. The Bulldogs won that game 56-8.
