Date:

Local State Farm agents recently presented the Woodbine Fire and Rescue Volunteer Fire Department with a $10,000 grant as part of State Farm’s Good Neighbor Firefighter Safety Program.

Woodbine was among the 100 departments across the state selected to receive the grant, which is meant to help purchase equipment that will help enhance safety, communications and operations at each fire department.

Woodbine used their funds to purchase 3 complete sets of bunker gear or also known as Structural Firefighter PPE.
