Wreck involving school bus closes intersection of Highway 25W and Ky 830

The intersection of Highway 25W and Ky 830 in front of the Harland Sanders Café and Museum is closed after a wreck involving a Whitley County school bus.

Crews were dispatched to the scene at approximately 4:40 p.m.

No students were on the school bus, but the female passenger of a Ford SUV had to be extricated and airlifted.

The accident is under investigation.
