13th Region softball and baseball championship tournament brackets announced

Memorial Day will be full of softball and baseball action in Knox County as this year’s 13th Region championship tournaments are scheduled kick off at Lynn Camp and Knox Central high schools.

Lynn Camp will host this year’s regional softball tournament, with the following contests scheduled for Monday-through-Wednesday:

Lynn Camp (23-11) vs South Laurel (26-9) – Mon. at Noon

Harlan (14-18) vs Jackson County (23-10) – Mon. at 2 PM

North Laurel (24-9) vs Harlan County (14-19) – Mon. at 4 PM

Corbin (18-15) vs Pineville (14-7) – Mon. at 6 PM

Winner of Lynn Camp/S Laurel vs Winner of Harlan/Jackson Co – Tues. at 6 PM

Winner of N Laurel/Harlan Co vs Winner of Corbin/Pineville – Tues. at 8 PM

The 2024 13th Region softball championship game is scheduled for Wednesday, May 29, at 6 PM.

Meanwhile, Knox Central will play host to this year’s regional baseball tournament, with the following contests also scheduled for Monday-through-Wednesday:

Corbin (27-10) vs Jackson County (12-21) – Mon. at 10 AM

Harlan (22-11) vs Barbourville (12-14) – Mon. at 1 PM

Clay County (19-13) vs Bell County (16-8) – Mon. at 4 PM

Knox Central (18-10) vs Whitley County (26-10) – Mon. at 7 PM

Winner of Corbin/Jackson Co vs Winner of Harlan/Barbourville – Tues. at 5 PM

Winner of Clay Co/Bell Co vs Winner of Knox Central/Whitley Co – Tues. at 7:30 PM

The 2024 13th Region baseball championship game is scheduled for Wednesday, May 29, at 6 PM.
