The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists that bridge deck repairs will take place on various locations on Interstate 75 in Whitley County on Tuesday (Oct. 8), and Wednesday (Oct. 9).
The work schedule is listed below:
- On Tuesday (Oct. 8) , intermediate lane closures will occur on I-75 southbound right lane (slow lane) at mile points 5.6, 2.5, 1.0, and 0.8 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- On Wednesday (Oct. 9), intermediate lane closures will occur on I-75 northbound right lane (slow lane) at mile points 0.8, 1.0, 2.5, and 3.0 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Motorists are advised to use caution during this period and be aware of signage, road crews and other drivers. The work is dependent on weather conditions.
