Melissa Sue Walters, age 45, of Jellico, Tennessee passed away Monday, February 10, 2025, at Baptist Health Corbin. She was born November 10, 1979 in Jellico, Tennessee.
Melissa is survived by her father, Clyde Whitaker; mother, Wilma Whitaker; brothers, Shawn Walters, and Clyde Allen Whitaker; nephews, Conner Walters, and Jackson Whitaker; aunts, Sue Davis, Carol Cannon, and Linda Whitaker; uncles, Tommy, Jim, and Eddie Whitaker; cousins, Tammy, Chisty, Angie, Tiffany, Jimmy Joe, Sheena, Bradi Rae, Jasmine, Peggy, Sheila, and Carla; friends, Anna Allen, Lisa Allen, Debbie Allen, Gwyn Blankenship, and Lisa Mills; and a host of family and friends to mourn her passing.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Thursday, February 13, at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with funeral services at 8 pm.
Burial will be at 11 am on Friday, February 14, in the Douglas Cemetery, in the Wooldridge community.
