Herman Hamblin

Herman Hamblin, age 81, of Williamsburg, Ky., passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Baptist Health Corbin. He was born March 21, 1943 in Whitley County, Ky. to the late Pleas and Lucy ‘Dib’ Rains Hamblin Wells.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his grandson, Wesley Hamblin; stepson, John Anderson; and two brothers, James ‘Jim’ Hamblin and Elmer Wells.
He is survived by two sons, Ronnie Dale Hamblin (Brenda) of Corbin, Ky. and Robbie Hamblin (Andelynn) of Williamsburg, Ky.; Ivalee Hamblin of Williamsburg, Ky.; three grandchildren, Daisy Pittman (James), Robert Stakley (Tonya) and Bradley Hamblin (Jennifer); three brothers, William Hamblin of Williamsburg, Ky., Henry Wells of Williamsburg, Ky. and Roger Wells (Terry) of Williamsburg, Ky.; several nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral service will be 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 13, at Ellison Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Wells and Rev. Travis Wells officiating.
Interment will be in Maple Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6:00 pm Wednesday, March 12, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Hamblin, Terry Hamblin, Brad Hamblin, Wayne Wells, Tim Moses, Ryan Ivey, James Pittman and Frankie Faulkner.
