Della Cox, a beloved member of the Williamsburg, Kentucky community, passed away on August 29, 2025.
Known for her love of flowers, fishing, and family, Della left a lasting impact on all who were fortunate enough to know her.
She was a devoted attendee of the Canada Town Holiness Church,
Above all else, Della held her 42-year marriage to Sam Cox close to her heart. Their bond was an inspiration to all who witnessed it.
Della leaves behind a loving family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Samuel Cox; her children, Mary Earls and Teddy Isaac; her grandchildren, Rachel Sutherland, Della Jones, Hollie Bryant, Jamie Jones, Annie Bryant, Lydia Walsh, and Amy Earls; her siblings, Sue Cureton, Lou Jones, Eva Smith, Mary Patrick, Jimmy Canada, William Canada and Calvin Canada; and her special friends, Eddie “Rabbit” Cureton, Mike Canada, and Ruth Markham.
Della is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Rosie Canada; her children, Sherry Bryant, Angie Jones, and James Brooks; and her siblings, Clarene Canada, Dewey Canada, and Everett Canada.
A visitation for Della will be held on Thursday, September 4, at 6:00 pm at Croley Funeral Home located at 103 South 2nd Street, Williamsburg, Kentucky.
Funeral services will follow on Friday, September 5, at 1:00 pm with Rev. Ronald Canada officiating.
