Williamsburg man charged with strangulation of juvenile pleads not guilty

(Editor’s Note: On Jan. 12, the first-degree strangulation charge in this case was amended to fourth-degree assault, and the defendant pleaded guilty to fourth-degree assault and possession of marijuana in exchange for a probated 12-month jail sentence. The remaining charges were dismissed at that point.)

A Williamsburg man pleaded not guilty Monday to charges related to the alleged strangulation of a juvenile on New Year’s Day.
