Clifford Cox

Clifford Cox, age 75, of Williamsburg, KY, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Baptist Health Corbin.
He was born April 25, 1950 in Whitley County, KY, to the late Jess and Delphia Jones Cox.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter, Bonnie Sue Cox; two sisters, Ardilla Hatfield, Leona Stewart; and two brothers, Fate Cox, and Bob Cox.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma Cox of Williamsburg, KY; two children, Clifford Cox Jr. (Denise) of Williamsburg, KY, and Shannon Ray Cox (Leann) of Indianapolis, IN; five grandchildren, Wendy Sue Cox, Cassidy Briggs, Alice Cox, Evan Cox, Lilly Cox; one sister, Michel Hamblin of Corbin, KY; one brother, Harry “Rail” Cox (Barbara) of Williamsburg, KY; several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral service was Saturday, January 10, at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lester Cox officiating.
Interment followed in the Wolf Creek Cemetery.
