Billy Ray Hatfield, age 85, of Clairfield, Tennessee passed away Thursday, October 29, 2026.
He was born February 10, 1941, in Valley Creek, Tennessee.
Billy is preceded in death by parents, Ellis and Della (Belew) Hatfield; great-grandchild, Autumn Baird; brothers, Clerance, Elbert, Lonnie, Donnie, and Otis Hatfield and wife Maria; sisters, Juanita Hatfield, Irene Hatfield and husband Ed, Edna York and husband Charles; brother-in-law, David Keener; and sisters-in-law, Sheila Hatfield and Gail Hatfield.
He is survived by wife, Nona (Huddleston) Hatfield; sons, Rodney “Steve” Hatfield and wife Kimberly, William Hatfield, Robert Hopkins, John Hopkins and wife Dee; daughter, Angelia Sanchez; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Paul Hatfield, Jr. and wife, Carl Hatfield, John “J.L.” Hatfield and Irene Hamblin, Troy Hatfield; sisters, Beatrice Keener, Myrtle Burns and Elmer; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing.
Funeral service was Sunday, November 1, at Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Stanley officiating.
Burial was Monday, November 2, in the Clairfield Baptist Church Cemetery.
