David E. Owens, age 55, of Jacksboro, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at Tennova LaFollette Health and Rehab Center.
He was born August 9, 1971, in LaFollette, Tennessee.
David is preceded in death by father, Ralph Owens; mother, Joie (Byrd) Owens; and sister, Christy Bowlin.
He is survived by wife, Deborah (Thomas) Owens; and her children, Josh Owens, Ashley Douglas; grandchildren, Taler, Emilee and Isbell; brother, Scott Owens and wife Ramona; sister, Kimberly Powers and husband Dustin and children Devin, Kaddy and Bryson; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing.
Funeral service was Saturday, October 31, at Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis “Cotton” Pittman officiating.
Burial followed in the Owens Family Cemetery in Morley, Tennessee
Harp Funeral Home of Jellico in charge of arrangements.
