Nine Whitley County wrestlers will take to the mats this morning at the 2010 Kentucky High School State Wrestling Tournament in Frankfort. Zack Bray, 103, will be first when he takes on Lafayette’s Luke Rearic in bout #14. JT Siler will wrestle in the 112 class. He will go against Jeffersontown’s TeAndre Taylor.
Jeff Couch follows in the 125 class in bout 54. Duncan Caddell will go against Jeffersontown’s Dair Sharipov while Charles Partin will get his first taste of state tournament action in the 145-pound class.
Whitley County’s hope for a state champion will be with Aaron Back in the 152-pound class. Aaron will take on Colton Boesch of Bishop Brossart. He could meet Ryle’s Conner Coyle, the favorite in the semifinals.
Steven Back will wrestle in the 135-pound class with the Vanover brothers, Solomon and Samuel in the 171-pound class and the 215-class.
