The following cases were heard by Judge Cathy Prewitt in Whitley County District Court on April 11:

Linda Sue Richardson, born in 1970, public intoxication controlled substance excludes alcohol, endangering the welfare of a minor – 12-month jail sentence probated for two years, comply with Department of Community-Based Services case plan, $100 fine plus court costs.

Dennis Adkins, born in 1955, fourth-degree assault – 90-day jail sentence probated for two years, credit 21 days already served, plus court costs, no contact with Anna Siler.

James L. Chansler, born in 1996 – motion for shock probation denied.

Jerry Croley, born in 1988, theft by unlawful taking or disposition contents from vehicle under $500 – six-month jail sentence probated for two years, court costs, $75 restitution to Diamond Gem’s Pawn Shop.

Tommy S. Petrey, born in 1971, contempt of court – 180-day jail sentence, credit for time already served.

Jeffrey Lee Rose, born in 1965, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, operator’s license suspended for 30 days, attend alcohol and drug education classes, $200 fine plus fees and costs.

Tiffany Satterfield, born in 1994, theft by unlawful taking or disposition shoplifting under $500 – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years after first seven days are served, sentence to be served on weekends, plus court costs.

Tiffany R. Satterfield, born in 1994, second-degree possession of a controlled substance – 12-month jail sentence probated for two years, plus court costs and public defender fee.

Lisa Nanette Coffey, born in 1965, third-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – 12-month jail sentence probated for two years, $200 restitution to Whitley County Sheriff’s Department, forfeit items to sheriff’s department, plus court costs.

Betty Lorraine Murray, born in 1955, third-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – 12-month jail sentence probated for two years, $200 restitution to Whitley County Sheriff’s Department Drug Fund, forfeit items to sheriff’s department, plus court costs.

Eugene Murray, born in 1951, third-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – 12-month jail sentence probated for two years, $200 restitution to Whitley County Sheriff’s Department Drug fund, plus court costs.

(Editor’s note: the amount of restitution owed to the Whitley County Sheriff’s Department in the Lisa Coffey, Betty Murray and Eugene Murray cases is $200 total, not $200 by each defendant.)

Bert Andrew Jones, born in 1977, bench warrant issued – pay $818 fine or go to jail.

Chelsie Pennington, born in 1989, bench warrant issued – pay $208 fine or go to jail.

Carl Raney III, born in 1970, bench warrant issued – pay $53 fine or go to jail.

Kayla Rogers, born in 1994, bench warrant issued – pay $263 fine or go to jail.

David J. Shorter, born in 1978, bench warrant issued – pay $25 fine or go to jail.

Amanda Suttles, born in 1992, bench warrant issued – pay $177 fine or go to jail.

Robert J. Vanover, born in 1985, bench warrant issued – pay $523 fine or go to jail.

Miesha A. Wooldridge, born in 1993, bench warrant issued – pay $158 fine or go to jail.

The following cases were heard by Judge Cathy Prewitt in Whitley County District Court on April 14:

Larry Wayne Anderson, born in 1968, alcohol intoxication, fourth-degree assault domestic violence – April 18 sentencing hearing scheduled.

Scott Kirklin, born in 1986, theft by unlawful taking or disposition shoplifting under $500, third-degree criminal trespassing – April 27 sentencing hearing scheduled.

Amanda Norris, born in 1993, contempt of court – 12-month jail sentence.

Brian C. Randle, born in 1983, on/expired registration plates, failure of owner to maintain required auto insurance – $525 fine of which all but $75 is probated, 30-day jail sentence conditionally discharged for two years.

Brian C. Randle, born in 1983, theft by unlawful taking or disposition shoplifting under $500 – May 25 sentencing hearing scheduled.

Cody Sulfridge, born in 1993, no operator’s/moped license – $40 fine plus court costs.

Tyler J. White, born in 1995, possession of drug paraphernalia – six-month jail sentence probated for two years, $200 fine plus court costs.

The following cases were heard by Judge Fred White in Whitley County District Court on April 18:

Ricky L. Anderson, born in 1994, leaving scene of an accident – May 16 sentencing hearing scheduled.

Andrew S. Burke, born in 1992, possession of marijuana – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, $50 fine plus court costs.

Kenneth Byrd, born in 1967, failure of owner to maintain required auto insurance – June 20 sentencing hearing scheduled.

Bobby Lee Chancellor, born in 1961, alcohol intoxication – $50 fine plus court costs.

James Allen Goins, born in 1964, obstructed vision and/or windshield – $25 fine plus court costs.

Ernest Daniel Huddleston, born in 1978, failure to wear seatbelts – paid in full.

Brittany Reynolds, born in 1995, failure to wear seatbelts – paid in full.

Lindsey Rose, born in 1988, failure to wear seatbelts – paid in full.

Larry Wayne Anderson, born in 1968, alcohol intoxication, fourth-degree assault domestic violence, two counts of contempt of court – 12-month jail sentence probated for two years after first 30 days are served, credit eight days already served, $300 fine plus court costs.

Timothy S. Brock, born in 1977, disregarding a stop sign – $25 fine plus court costs.

Dwayne A. Cox, born in 1984 – motion for shock probation denied. May receive shock probation after restitution is paid in full.

Hobert Lee Elswick Jr., born in 1972, theft by unlawful taking under $500 – 12-month jail sentence probated for two years, $800 restitution.

Larisa Gordon, born in 1988 – motion for shock probation denied but may be notice again when there is proof of rehab bed availability.

Micah Joel Hamblin, born in 1977, third-degree terroristic threatening – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, plus court costs, no contact with Marjorie Kerr whatsoever.

Brandon M. Hill, born in 1980, third-degree possession of a controlled substance – 60-day jail sentence probated for two years, $50 fine plus court costs.

Ashley Hubbard, born in 1986, second-degree promoting contraband – six-month jail sentence probated for two years after first 30 days are served, credit nine days already served.

Glennis Lee Isaac, born in 1973, contempt of court – 90-day jail sentence consecutive with whatever other time he is serving.

Joseph Lee Jones, born in 1983, carrying a concealed deadly weapon – 12-month jail sentence probated for 12 months, plus court costs.

Brandelyn V. Kidd, born in 1986 – motion for shock probation granted on condition two Narcotics Anonymous/Alcoholics Anonymous meetings are attended weekly, credit time served towards fines and costs.

Lisa A. Lester, born in 1966, failure of non-owner operator to maintain required auto insurance, license not in possession – $525 fine of which all but $75 is probated, plus court costs.

Cameron Mays, born in 1993, third-degree terroristic threatening – 12-month jail sentence probated for two years after first 30 days are served, court costs, no contact with Tasha Prince.

Roger Powers, born in 1956 – motion for expungement granted.

Dorothy N. Raney, born in 1993 – motion for expungement granted.

Kelsie A. Veach, born in 1990, failure of owner to maintain required auto insurance – $500 fine of which all but $50 is probated, plus court costs.

Dillard Craig Norman, born in 1981, bench warrant issued – pay $233 fine or go to jail.

Justin Paul, born in 1986, bench warrant issued – pay $283 fine or go to jail.

Apren Poore, born in 1985, bench warrant issued – pay $158 fine or go to jail.

Joshua Sexton, born in 1996, bench warrant issued – pay $215.50 fine or go to jail.

Nathan Storms, born in 1993, bench warrant issued – pay $738 fine or go to jail.

Brenda Alsip vs. Pamela E. Chance (Tiller) – order to vacate entered, seven days to vacate or appeal.

Cash Express LLC vs. Amanda Patrick – motion for default judgment granted.

Cash Express LLC vs. Tyler Perkins – motion for default judgment granted.

M&M Properties LLC vs. Linda Richardson – order to vacate entered, seven days to vacate or appeal.

Anna M. Peace vs. Tim Henson – judgment for the plaintiff in the amount of $1,145 plus court costs. And interest.

The following cases were heard by Judge Fred White in Whitley County District Court on April 21:

Michael Nichols, born in 1967, alcohol intoxication – $25 fine plus court costs.

Johnny Lee Goins, born in 1942, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, operator’s license suspended for 90 days, attend alcohol and drug education classes, $200 fine plus fees and costs.

Crystal Gail Douglas, born in 1981, theft by unlawful taking or disposition shoplifting under $500 – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, credit 17 days already served, court costs, stay out of Family Dollar.

Coy Howard, born in 1986, third-offense operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs, failure of owner to maintain required auto insurance, second-degree possession of a controlled substance – 12-month jail sentence probated for two years after first 30 days are served, credit 15 days already served, operator’s license suspended for 24 months, attend alcohol and drug education classes, $1,000 fine plus fees and costs.

Stephanie Lawson, born in 1985, third-degree criminal trespassing, public intoxication controlled substance excludes alcohol – $150 fine plus court costs, stay out of Wal-Mart.

Danny Joe West, born in 1980, receiving stolen property under $500 – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, court costs, restitution has already been paid.

Discover Bank vs. Marcy L. Uhutch – motion to vacate judgment denied.

Brian E. Baker, born in 1977, three counts of failure to wear seatbelts – $75 fine.
