Michael Joe Stevens, 39, passed away on Wednesday October 26, 2016 in Lexington, KY
He was born in Danville, to Kathie Hampton Stevens and Dwight Stevens.
Michael was an avid sports fan and loved the UK Wildcats, Cincinnati Reds and Bengals. He was a right of way agent with Percheron.
Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lester and Marcelene Stevens, aunt, Margaret Huber and uncle, Darrell Stevens.
He is survived by his mother, Kathie Hampton Stevens; father, Dwight Stevens and girlfriend, Patti Hart; sister, Kelly Stevens Gregory and husband Earl; brother, Daniel Stevens and fiancé Brandi Ratliff; Michael’s fiancé Tracy Murray and her daughter, Zoe Murray; niece, Summar Gregory; nephew, Ashton Gregory, and by a host of family and friends who will all mourn his sudden passing.
A celebration of life service was held Saturday, October 29, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Gregory officiating.
Burial followed in Calvary Cemetery in Corbin with pall bearers being; Eric Smith, Randy Sulfridge, Chris St. John, Eric Boggs, Ashton Gregory, and Jason Handy.
