Chief Deputy Tim Baker holds a garbage bag while Deputy Joe Prewitt loads up the 18 marijuana plants that deputies seized Tuesday.

Whitley County Sheriff’s Deputy Joe Prewitt and Sgt. Jeff Anderson seized 18 marijuana plants at a location off Mustang Lane about 2 p.m. Tuesday while investigating an anonymous tip.

No arrests have been made yet, but police do have a suspect in the case.

The tallest of the plants was about six-feet tall, and deputies say many plants were close to that height.

When fully mature, the plants each have a street value of over $2,000.
