One person injured in Thursday motorcycle wreck

Date:

An Ohio man was injured Thursday afternoon after he lost control of his three-wheeled motorcycle and was thrown to the pavement.

Kentucky State Police said the man, identified as 57-year-old Steven Bryan of Coshocton, Ohio, was traveling south on U.S. 25W near Ky. 90 on his Yamaha Trike when he went off the road, plowed through the grass on the shoulder and was thrown from the motorcycle.

“He said an animal ran out in front of him,” said Trooper David Lassister.

Lassiter said Bryan was not wearing a helmet.

Oak Grove and Woodbine firefighters also responded to the scene for traffic control.

Traffic was reduced to one lane for approximately 45 minutes as emergency personnel worked to clear the scene.
