Phyllis June Rickett Grubb Lawson, 67, of North Highway 25-W, Williamsburg, departed this life on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at the Kindred Hospital in Louisville.

She was born on November 11, 1949 in Jellico, TN to the late Porta Rickett and Ada (Powers) Rickett.

She is survived by her husband, Leonard Michael Lawson Sr. of Williamsburg; her children, Leonard Michael Lawson Jr., Donnie Eric Grubb, James Michael Turner, Christopher Turner, Jason Monroe Turner, Mary Ada Eaton and Hope Michelle Grubb; eight grandchildren; brothers, Rev. Kenneth Rickett (Vera), Paul Rickett (Debbie), James Rickett, Danny Rickett (Vicky) and Harold Rickett; sisters, Wanda Faye Rickett (Clyde) and Dorthene Carpenter; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.

Following the service Wednesday she was laid to rest in the Croley Addition of Highland Park Cemetery.
