Geraldine “Joy” Teague Coffey, 70, of Clairfield, TN passed away Monday, October 16, 2017 at Parkwest Medical Center.

She was born June 1, 1947 in Jellico, TN.

Joy was preceded in death by her father, John Teague; mother, Bessie Sowders Teague; brothers, J.L. Teague, James Teague, Raymond Teague, Jobbie Teague, Billy Teague; two infant brothers; sisters, June Hatfield, Ellen King, ​Lucille King.

She is survived by her husband, Eddie Randall Coffey; son, Eddie Brian Coffey; daughters, Julia Johnson, Joy Denise Partin and husband Greg; son-in-law, ​JJ Johnson; grandchildren, Nicholas Edward Johnson, Doc Johnson, Stacy Johnson and David, Joy-Beth Partin; great grandchildren, Lindalynn Johnson and sister Ally; sisters, Frances Cobb and husband Homer, Judy Powell and husband Conley, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn her passing.

Funeral services were held October 18 at the Harp Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Johnson and Rev. Adam Gulley officiating.

Burial was held Thursday, October 19, in the Spradlin Family Cemetery (Bell Farm), Kentucky.

Harp Funeral Home of Jellico was in charge of arrangements.
