Road work at intersection of U.S. 25E/W scheduled to be completed Nov. 17

Date:

Officials with the Kentucky Department of Transportation say road work at the intersection of U.S. 25E and U.S. 25W should be completed by Nov. 17.

Officials said work to replace the concrete on U.S. 25 on both approaches to the intersection will continue during day and nighttime hours in an effort to wrap up the project.

As the work progresses, traffic patterns through the intersection must be adjusted.

As such, transportation officials are asking motorists to be aware as they approach the intersection.

“The date, time and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other foreseen delays occur,” transportation officials stated.

Officials noted that this is the continuation of the effort to improve traffic flow in the area.

Similar work was previously completed on the north and south approaches to the intersection.
