REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR AUDITING SERVICES

The City of Corbin is Accepting Scaled Proposals for Auditing Services. Specifications may be obtained from and proposals shall be submitted to the office of the City Clerk, Corbin City Hall, 805 South Main Street, Corbin, KY, 40701, 606-528-0669, or tori.brock@corbin-ky.gov. Sealed proposals must be received in the office of the City Clerk by 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. Proposal openings will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Corbin City Hall in the upstairs meeting room. The City of Corbin reserves the right to accept/reject any or all bids.

 

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed bids for mowing of City Utilities Commission (CUC) properties will be received by the City Utilities Commission of Corbin at its office located at 1515 Cumberland Falls Highway, Corbin, KY 40701 until 2:00 pm local time on March 30, 2023, and then publicly opened and read aloud.

Copies of the bid documents may be obtained by contacting the City Utilities Commission office located at 1515 Cumberland Falls Highway, Corbin, KY 40701, (606)528-4026.

General liability and workers compensation insurance are required to be maintained by the contractor.

The award will be made to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder.

No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after closing time scheduled for the receipt of bids.

The City Utilities Commission reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any and all bids.

Please visit the district website, www.whitley.kyschools.us to view pictures, of the above listed items.  The items will be sold as items, one through sixty-eight, on the complete bid list.  Please contact Jack Lawson at 606-549-7000, extension 2047 to obtain the complete bid list.  Your sealed bid must be labeled “SURPLUS PROPERTY BID” and include the item number, description, and the amount of your bid, along with your name, address, phone number, and email address.  Submit your sealed bid to the Whitley County Board of Education, 300 Main Street, Williamsburg, KY 40769, during regular office hours from 8:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M.  Monday through Friday.  Bid deadline is 2:00 P.M., Thursday, April 20, 2023, and bids will be opened at WCBOE, 300 Main Street, Williamsburg, KY.  Bids received after the scheduled closing time will be returned unopened to the bidder.  The Whitley County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive informalities.  Successful bidder must remove items from the property by May 3, 2023.
