Sophomore Steven Back fell behind 2-0 the roared back to beat Louisville Manual’s Ben Schardein, 6-4 in tge 135-pound class of the Back tied the score on a reversal then too a 4-2 lead in the second period. The two wrestlers scored two points each in the third period.
Junior Duncan Caddell was upset in the 140-pound class by Jeffersontown Dair Shairpov. The score was tied 2-2 at the end of round one, but Shairpov took a 5-2 lead in the second period. Caddell scored a point in the third period before Shairpov got the pin with :31 left in the match.
