Alma Cathleen Felts, 98, of Corbin, passed away on Tuesday Nov. 28, 2017 at the Heritage in Corbin.

She was born in Laurel County to the late Willie and Myrtle Wyatt Hopkins.

Alma loved cooking and quilting. She worked with the historical society at the London library and was a member Lily Holiness Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Fonley E. Felts; six brothers, and a daughter-in-law, Patty Felts.

Alma is survived by her children; Phyllis Cummins (Lonnie), Gerald Felts (Joyce), Carolyn Farmer (Stanley), and Roger Felts; Grandchildren; Carl Harris, Tammy Smith, Lori Vorbeck, Kelly Edwards, Ken A. Felts, Michael Felts, and Michelle Felts; brother, Hilbert Hopkins; and by numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

The funeral service was held Friday, December 1, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Hopkins Cemetery in Laurel County.
