ARH donation makes four free swim days possible at Corbin City Pool

Date:

For four Thursdays this summer – including this Thursday – residents will be able to get into the Corbin City Pool for free thanks to a donation by a local healthcare system.

“I want to thank ARH. They made a significant contribution to Corbin City Pool so we can have four free Thursdays this year,” Corbin Parks and Recreation Director Jacob Roan told the Corbin City Commission Monday. “We invite any other businesses, hospitals, banks, who would like to rent out the pool. We open up the gates, and it is free for kids to swim.”

The free swim Thursdays are June 18, June 30, July 9 and July 30. Swimming will be free to everyone those days.

Corbin Mayor Suzie Razmus added this is great and she thanked ARH for the donation.

Roan added restroom renovations at the pool were recently completed, and electrical update should be done soon.
