Arville Everett Haggard, 89, of Gray, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at his home.

Born in Knox County, Arville was the son of the late Tony Roscoe Haggard and Clydia Engle Haggard.

Before becoming disabled, Arville was a truck driver.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Mae Haggard; daughter, Teresa Kay Haggard; and brothers and sisters: Sylvia Elliott, Elva Hoskins, Melvin Haggard, Fred Haggard, and Dallas Haggard; and step-children: Inez Mason, Pat Monday, Carolyn Brewer, Juanita Wilson, Lee Chappell, and Marjorie Jean Walker.

Arville is survived by his sister, Truscilla Vinson; and by his step-children: Marian Hagy (Bob), Coreta Brewer, Isaac Junior Wilder (Gale), Joan Anderson (Tom), Judy Greis (Champe), and June Burkhart (Gene).

The funeral service was held Sunday, November 4, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Murray and Rev. Michael Helton officiating.

Burial followed in the Calvary Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Timothy Craig Haggard, Brandon Haggard, John Dwayne Vinson, Melvin Dwayne Haggard, Tony E. Haggard, Caleb Helton, Adam Mullins, Mickey Johnson, Casey Kelly, and Jim Murray, with Logan Vinson serving as honorary pallbearer.
