Baptist Health Corbin recognizes healthcare hero

Date:

Baptist Health Corbin recognized Becca Maggard as The BEE Award recipient.

Maggard is a transporter. Baptist Health Corbin officials described Maggard saying, “She ex-emplifies what we should all strive to be. She consistently has a smile on her face and offers a friendly word to staff and patients alike.”

The BEE Award complements The DAISY Award®. The DAISY Award is awarded by The DAISY Foundation and recognizes nurses for their care and compassion.

Baptist Health Corbin officials explain, “Just as in nature, bees are loyal, hardworking, and cannot exist without the daisy – and the daisy cannot exist without the bee. This partner-ship reflects the vital teamwork within healthcare, where every role supports another.”

Officials wrote, “Baptist Health Corbin extends its deep appreciation to Becca for all that she does, for who she is, and for the incredible and meaningful difference she makes in the lives of patients, families, and her coworkers.”
