Barbara Jewell Douglas, age 80, of Jellico, TN went to be with her Lord on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.
Barb is preceded in death by her parents, Sammy Thomas and Edna (Granny) Thomas; brothers, Benny Gosnell (Katherine) and Bobby Gosnell (Emma May).
She is survived by her husband, Donnie Douglas; daughter, Tammy Sowder (Bill); sons, Denny Bridges (Michelle), Bobby Bridges (KK), and Donnie Ray Douglas (Britney); grandchildren, Evan Douglas, Kyle Douglas, Macyn Douglas, Robert Bridges, Danielle McDaniel, Amanda Riggs, Braun Lee Dabney, Hope Bridges, Bodie Bridges, Triniti Bridges, Faith Marker, Robert (Spanky) Bridges and Issac McGhee; great-grandchildren, Knox Bridges, Cooper Bridges, and Denver Bridges; and many other family and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral service was Sunday, May 29, at the Llewellyn Funeral Home Chapel in Jellico, TN with Rev. Trey Brock officiating.
Interment followed in the Douglas Cemetery.
The Llewellyn Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
