Betty Maxine Siler, born on May 27, 1938 in Williamsburg, Kentucky, passed away on March 23, 2026.
Betty was a beloved resident of Williamsburg, where she lived her entire life. She was married to Bill Siler. Her loved ones will fondly remember her for the love she gave to her family, as well as the joy she brought to her nieces, nephews, and friends.
Betty is survived by her husband, Bill Siler; and her son, Steve Siler; she also leaves behind her brothers, Isaac Lawson (Emma Muse) and Robert Lawson; and sister, Katie Meshinski (Wayne Legendre); grandchildren, Randy Joe Jones, Christina Gail Siler (Freddie), Michael Wayne Vanderpool, Victoria Prime (Casey) and William Jones (Angel); great-grandchildren, Atticus Chapman, Kandice Clark, Emily Milton, Parker Taylor, Maci Prime, Conner Jones, Sadie Prime, Sawyer Prime; two special grandchildren, James “JD” Siler and Ryan Jones; and special friend, Angie Johnson who cared for her needs.
Betty will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other family friends to mourn her passing. Betty had a special place in her heart for her niece, Marybelle Walden.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Granville and Myrtle Lawson; her daughters, Bonnie Vanderpool, Wanda Jones, Betty Wilson, and Judy Davenport; and her siblings, Joe Ed Lawson and Joann Walden.
Funeral service was Friday, March 27, with Rev. Ronnie Rose and Ewell Jamup Lawson officiating at Croley Funeral Home in Williamsburg, Kentucky.
