Carolyn Sue Gibson, 68, a humble and loving resident of Williamsburg, Kentucky, was born on May 27, 1957, in Williamsburg, KY.
Known for her love for family, Carolyn’s life was a testament to the enduring strength of familial bonds.
She departed this life on September 10, 2025 leaving a void that will be hard to fill.
Carolyn is survived by her husband of over 51 years, Lewis Gibson of Williamsburg, KY; daughter, Sarah Jane Patterson and husband Randall Wayne Patterson of Williamsburg, KY; and granddaughter Raelynn Lashae Patterson who was the apple of her eye; she is also survived by her brother, Robb Henn.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, William Ball and Sarah Ball, who instilled in her the humility and love that were her defining qualities; her brothers, Oscar Ball, Alonzo Ball; and sisters, Lula Gibson, Glenna Peace, and Christine Kersey.
She is survived by several nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services was Sunday, September 14, at Croley Funeral Home in Williamsburg.
The burial service followed the services.
