Cassie Rains, a resident of Union Township, born on January 1, 1941 in Siler, KY, passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022, at the age of 81.
She was the beloved wife of the late William J. Rains. Cherished mother of Tami (Timothy) Tully, David (Tammy) Rains, and Matthew (Andrea) Rains.
Loving grandmother of Tyler (Courtney), Taylor (Michael). Jackson, Olivia, Chloe (Brandon), Lucas, and Maxwell. Great-grandmother of Anna Grace. Dear sister to Roy McKiddy, Charles McKiddy, Wendell McKiddy, and the late Randall McKiddy.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her mother, Oma McKiddy.
Visitation for Cassie will be held at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home (Amelia), on Wednesday, September 7, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Services will be held at 1:30 PM, on Thursday, September 8, also at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Olive Branch Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
