Sarah Ruth Dycus,  57, of Dycus Road, Williamsburg,  departed this life on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Jellico Community Hospital in Jellico, TN. Funeral services were held Sunday, July 17,  with the Rev. Billy Carpenter officiating. She was laid to rest in the Douglas Cemetery at Oswego, TN. Jason Naill, Donald Johnson, Howard Lanham, and Sam Lanham served as pallbearers. Donald  Ray Napier, 73, of Lily passed away Saturday, July 16 at his home. The funeral was held July 18 with Rev. Charles Henson officiating. Burial followed in the McHargue Cemetery. Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Johnathan Duane Bowen,  49, of Cemetery Road, Williamsburg,  passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at UK Medical Center in Lexington. The funeral service was held Monday, July 18,  at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gerald Mullins and Rev. Gerald Littlejohn officiating. He was laid to rest in the Croley Addition of Highland Park, Williamsburg. Sam Alan Baker, 81, of Pioneer (Elk Valley), TN passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at the Lafollette Medical Center. Funeral services were held Saturday, July 16, at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Asbury Byrd & Rev. Adam Hunley officiating. Burial was held Sunday, July 17, 2016 in the Valley View Cemetery. Military Honors were given by The American Legion Post 154 of Elk Valley, TN. Harp Funeral Home of Jellico in charge of arrangements.

Patricia Lynn Sharp, 61, of Corbin passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at Baptist Health Corbin. Funeral services were held Saturday, July 9, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Herb Wells, Rev. Selenia Elizabeth “Penny” Meadors,  86, of Williamsburg, passed away Sunday July 10, 2016 at Baptist Health Corbin in Corbin. She was born January 11, 1930 in Whitley County to the late George Heaton and the late Florence Childress Heaton.
