Glenda Kay Stephens, age 75, of Dean King Road, Pine Knot, Kentucky, departed this life on Friday, February 28, 2020 at the Lake Cumberland Medical Center in Somerset, Kentucky. She was born on December 25, 1944 to the late Delbert and Sarah (Dotson) Malone. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ray Stephens. Born in Williamsburg, Gerald was the son of the late Garrett Goins and Bertha Mayfield Goins McFadden. Gerald had been a trainmaster for L&N/CSX Railroads, and was a U.S. Army veteran. Heather Sulfridge Hensley, 47, of Corbin, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2020, at the University of Louisville Hospital. She leaves behind her daughter, Maranda Hensley. Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 26, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Billy Evans and Harold Sulfridge officiating. Burial followed in Cumberland Memorial Gardens. Mr. Danny David Perkins, age 68, of Newcomb, passed away Monday, February 24, 2020, at Beech Tree Manor in Jellico. He was born November 02, 1951 in Jellico, Tennessee. He moved to Michigan with his family in 1965, he returned to the area in 1971.  Danny worked for Bill & Larry Creekmore’s sawmill and later for Jack Creekmore at his sawmill until his medical retirement. Dallas W. Jones, 86, of Corbin, passed away Saturday, February 29, 2020, at Beech Tree Manor at Jellico, TN. Born in Corbin, he was a son of the late Raymond and Melda Wyatt Jones and also predeceased by a sister, Doris Trett. Dallas served in the U.S. Army earning the rank of Staff Sergeant. He worked at Hall-Watson Furniture Co. for 56 years; he was manager for most of that time and co-owner for his last 20 years. He belonged to Poplar Grove Baptist Church.
