Back in action: Though the Corbin water tower is still littered with a large number of nesting birds, the iconic Christmas star light that sits atop it is now once again functional. Officials with the Corbin City Utilities Commission confirmed Tuesday that the lights have been replaced and the star has been seen lighting up the night sky. The light had been inoperable due to damages to the fixture’s bulbs from the birds.
