Clarence Maynard Hobbs, 73, of Williamsburg, passed away on Thursday May 4, 2017 at Baptist Health in Corbin.

He was born in Harper, WV, and was retired from the US Army with over 20 years service having served in Korea.

Clarence was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed gospel singing and playing the guitar. He was a fisherman and liked woodworking.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Clarence Maynard Hobbs Sr. and Elvia Salitha Scalf Hobbs and by a brother, Ralph Hobbs.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Keller Hobbs; children, David Hobbs and wife Christy of Shelbyville, IN; Rochelle Nye and husband Todd of Durham, NC; and Jeremy Hobbs and wife Allison of London, KY; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; and by sister-in-law and brother-in -law, Delores and Don Haney of Mitchell, IN.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
