Date:

The Kentucky 2A sectional champion Whitley County Colonels and Corbin Lady Hounds are preparing to go on the road this weekend to open up play in this year’s 2A State Championship soccer tournaments.

Both squads will travel to Rowan County for their round one games this Saturday, Sept. 6, and both will be taking on the Johnson Central Golden Eagles. Both teams will be in action this week leading up to their respective encounters with Johnson Central on Saturday. See the upcoming games box in this week’s edition for more on those games. Brackets for the 2025 Kentucky 2A State Championship tournaments are also included in this week’s edition.
