Corbin cheerleaders raise money for Leslie Co. cheerleader who lost everything in fire

Corbin cheerleaders partnered with community members to raise money for a Leslie County cheerleader who lost everything – including her family – in a house fire.

The Corbin cheerleaders took up donations during recent ballgames for the 15-year-old Leslie County cheerleader.

School officials say she was the sole survivor of the fire. June Nantz, 84, Lisa Marcum, 56, and Jadeana Begley, 50, all died.

Corbin cheerleaders raised approximately $2,230 as of Tuesday morning.
