Corbin man injured in rollover crash Wednesday

Date:

A Corbin man had to be extricated from his SUV Wednesday afternoon after it slid off of Interstate 75 and overturned in Laurel County.

James A. McClane, 55, was taken to St. Joseph Hospital in London for treatment of possible injuries sustained in the single-vehicle crash.

Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy Gilbert Acciardo, the department’s public affairs officer, stated that McClane was travelling south in I-75 in a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer when he ran into heavy rain.

“The driver the Trailblazer applied his break and lost control traveling off the roadway and overturning,” Acciardo stated.

London Laurel Rescue Squad and Laurel County Fire Department were called to the scene to extricate McClane.
