Corbin woman injured in single-vehicle crash

 A Corbin woman was injured Saturday night when her minivan ran off of Ky. 312, struck a concrete tile ditch and a tree, before overturning.

According to Sheriff John Root, the driver of the vehicle is identified at 81-year-old Mavis Burchanan.

Buchanan was taken to Baptist Health Corbin for treatment of her injuries.

Keavy Fire Department and Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County assisted at the scene.
