Danny Ray Chambers

Danny Ray Chambers went to be with the Lord at his home on January 6, 2017 at the age of 59.  He was born in Scott County, TN on June 30, 1957.

He confessed his faith in Jesus Christ at an early age at the Stanfield Baptist Church

He was a long-time business owner of Mountainside Coal Company, and truly loved working on his farm and enjoying time with his family.

Danny is preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Dean Chambers; grandparents, Elmer and Polly Chambers, ​and Clyde and Mossy Strunk.

He is survived by loving wife, Lisa Kruse Chambers, (25 wonderful years together); sons, Steven Chambers of Jacksboro, TN, Jason Chambers, Daniel Chambers, Devin Chambers all of Williamsburg; one granddaughter, ​Jacee Chambers of Jellico; parents, Dean and Imogene Strunk Chambers; brother, ​Michael Chambers (Tanya); sister, Brenda Lee Chambers all of Williamsburg; three sisters-in-law: Wilma Kruse of Jellico, Cordia Partin (Terry) of Jellico, Becky Fields (Mike) of Williamsburg; and a host of nieces, nephew, friends and family to mourn his passing.

The funeral service was held Monday, January 9 at the Mountain Ash Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Carpenter and Rev. Billy Joe Lowe officiating.

Burial was held Tuesday, January 10, in the Warren Memorial Garden in Pioneer, TN.

Harp Funeral Home of Jellico is in charge of arrangements.
