Darlene Meadors, 71, of New Zion Road, Williamsburg, departed this life on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington.
She was born on May 26, 1946 in Barbourville, to the late Jake Smith and Geneva (Merida) Smith.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Chester Smith.
She is survived by her sons, Josh Lee Meadors (Tabitha) of Williamsburg, James Seth Meadors (fiancé, Jennie White) of Tyner, and John Daniel Meadors (Cristal) of Williamsburg; six grandchildren, Hayley Meadors, Drake Meadors, Tristen Meadors, Cameron Meadors, Marissa Meadors, and Makenna Meadors; three sisters, Laura Schirmer of Oxford, OH, Doris Jean Hampton of Oxford, OH, and Cora Lee Venable of Hampton, OH, special friend, Janice Perry of Williamsburg; several nieces and nephews; and other family and friends to mourn her passing.
The funeral service was held Saturday, February 3, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tim Clark officiating.
Interment was private.
