The following cases were heard by Judge Cathy Prewitt in Whitley County District Court on Sept. 4:

Rocky Henson, born in 1976, obstructed vision and/or windshield, driving on a DUI suspended license, no auto insurance – 90-day jail sentence conditionally discharged for two years, $625 fine, $143 court costs, no driving until legal.

Benjamin T. Hodge, born in 1984, no/expired registration plates, second-offense operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs, possession of open alcohol beverage container in a motor vehicle – seven-day jail sentence, credit three days already served, attend alcohol and drug education classes, license suspended for 12 months, $993 fines, fees and costs.

Amanda Bargo Powers, born in 1980, third-degree criminal trespassing, harassing communications – 30-day jail sentence conditionally discharged for two years, $200 fine, $173 court costs.

Amanda Bargo Powers, born in 1990, second-degree criminal trespassing – 30-day jail sentence conditionally discharged for two years, $243 fine and court costs.

The following cases were heard by Judge Fred White in Whitley County District Court on Sept. 4:

Darlene F. Strunk vs. Laura B. McBrayer – motion for contempt granted, order of arrest entered.

Linda Hunt vs. Marlana M. McFarland – motion for contempt granted, order of arrest entered.

Debbie E. Brock vs. Joseph A. Rainwater – motion for change of venue granted.

Bobbie Hamblin vs. Kayla L. Rogers – motion for contempt granted, order of arrest entered.

Dora D. Bailey vs. Clover R. Salyer – motion for shock probation denied; owes $28,000, never made payment.

Teresa A. Sizemore vs. Carl W. Sizemore – motion for contempt granted, order of arrest entered.

First Financial Credit Inc. vs. Felicia Morgan – motion for default judgment granted.

Freddie L. Akers Jr., born in 1982, bench warrant issued – pay $673 fine or go to jail.

Joseph Bauer, born in 1984, bench warrant issued – pay $383 fine or go to jail.

Allen Bunch, born in 1975, bench warrant issued – pay $183 fine or go to jail.

Tina Elizabeth Davis, born in 1978, bench warrant issued – pay $748 fine or go to jail.

Claud Dean, born in 1979, bench warrant issued – pay $193 fine or go to jail.

Claude Daniel Dean III, born in 1979, bench warrant issued – pay $173 fine or go to jail.
