Donna Sue Reid, age 61, of the Kentucky Hill Community of Williamsburg, Kentucky passed away Saturday morning, March 6, 2021 at her home.
She was born on December 22, 1959 to the late Kenneth McLemore and Mildred (Downs) McLemore in Jellico, Tennessee. Her maternal grandparents were the late John Woodrow Downs and Icey Elizabeth (Owens) Downs.
She was a member of the Kentucky Hill Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents and grandparents, she was preceded in death by one son, Joseph W. Reid, and one sister, Connie McLemore.
She is survived by one daughter, Crystal Muse, and husband, Gary, of Jellico, TN and one son, Scottie Reid, and wife, Samantha, of the Kentucky Hill Community of Williamsburg, KY; six grandchildren, Leanna Reid, Michael Muse, David Muse, Kayla Paige Reid, Joseph Reid, and wife, Kayla, and Kailyn Muse; three great-grandchildren, Everlie Reid, Luna Muse, and Leon Reid; two brothers, Kenneth McLemore, Jr. and Gary McLemore, and wife, Kristie; three nephews, Corey McLemore, Jeremiah McLemore, and Jonah McLemore; and a host of friends, neighbors and other relatives to mourn her passing.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, March 9, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at the Cox & Son Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral will immediately follow on Tuesday, March 9, at 2:00 p.m. at the Cox & Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Muse officiating.
