Georgetta Powers, age 63, of Williamsburg, KY, passed away Friday, March 5, 2021 at her home. She was born December 16, 1957 in Corbin, KY, to the late George Gibbs and Rebecca Jane Hamblin Gibbs.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Powers of Williamsburg, KY; her mother, Becky Jane Gibbs of Williamsburg, KY; her brother, Leslie Gibbs (Betty) of Williamsburg, KY; nephews, Mark Gibbs (Shelly) of Williamsburg, KY, Steve Gibbs (Alania) of Williamsburg, KY, Jason Powers (Lauren) of Williamsburg, KY, Kevin Powers (Katie) of Williamsburg, KY, Ben Powers (Heather) of Williamsburg, KY, and David Bray (Brenda) of Williamsburg, KY; nieces, Patricia Angel (Chris) of Williamsburg, KY, Tiffany Bray of Williamsburg, KY, Saisha Powers of Williamsburg, KY, and Anna Bray of Williamsburg, KY; sisters-in-law, Nellie Powers (Vernon) of Williamsburg, KY, and Darlene Branson (Johnny) of Williamsburg, KY; brother-in-law, Mitchell Powers (Ruby) of Williamsburg, KY; special friends, Teresa Petrey and Louella Reeves (David); as well as a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral service was held Monday, March 8, at Ellison Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Strange officiating. Interment was in Hamblin Cemetery at Mulberry.
