Donnie Wayne Peace, 69, of Williamsburg, passed away Wednesday March 15, 2017 at his home.
He was born April 14, 1947 in Bell County.
He was preceded in death by his mother Audie Hurst, stepfather Lawrence Hurst, and grandfather Tom Peace.
He was a Kentucky Colonel, a member of the DAV, American Legion, and the VFW.
He is survived by daughter Lisa Ponder Peace of Williamsburg, four grandchildren, Austin Ponder (Jessica), Paige Ponder, Dalton Ponder, Billie Berry all of Williamsburg, a great grandchild, Tandon Ponder; former wife Wanda Peace of Williamsburg, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services were held Saturday March 18, at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Waylon Hunter officiating.
Burial was in the Peace Cemetery.
American Legion Post 88 Corbin KY will conduct military honors at the graveside.
